Education Qualification :

Any Graduation + MBA Preferred

Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Acquisition of new clients in India for Freight Forwarding
  • Approaching to new clients to generate business and onboarding of the clients
  • Quoting best competitive rates to the clients 
  • Coordinating with pricing team, Shipping Line and agent for rates and rate filling/negotiation
  • Co-ordinating with internal account teams for invoicing ,Follow up on payments with client
  • Drive sales program to meet overall company goals.
  • Develop Region/Country Level Sales Strategy and Development business Plan.
  • Enhance Regional Target Accounts management.
  • Drive business solutions with the product team to meet customers' expectations.
  • Develop case study and best practices sharing among branches.
  • Cultivate solutions selling across the region Continue to bring value and creativity to customer supply chain model 
    in sales approach.
  • Focus on Generating New Business and pipeline.
  • Responsible for P&L and Focused on winning and retaining profitable business.
  • Effectively co-operate & liaise with corporate team, internal cross function team and other verticals of the group for 
    synergies & product development.
  • Coordinating with operations department such as project implementing team and trade lane managers for the 
    execution of orders
  • Setting up Standard Operating Procedures for smooth business transaction.
    Involved in Operational excellence Process for the improvement of service deliverables.
  • Conducting Review meetings with internal and external customers for better operational excellence and increasing 
    the SOW in terms of Volume – Revenue and Margin

Competencies :

  • Building business relationships with current and new potential clients to prepare the pipeline for future business prospects planned in advance. Identifying, qualifying & securing business opportunities in developing customized targeted sales strategies.

Preffered Experience Highlights :

Candidates preferred from Container Freight Forwarding background.
